Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) and Honeybush (Cyclopia Intermedia) are two delicious herbal tisanes indigenous to South Africa's Western Cape province. Unlike green or black tea,Rooibos or "redbush" and Honeybush are both very low in tannins andcontain zero caffeine. They are a great source of healthfulantioxidants and have a sweet, mild flavor. Rooibos leaves are handpicked and cut, then oxidized to release the notable red color and earthy taste. Thefermented leaves and stems of Honeybush are brewed to release theiraromatic and healing properties. Sip plain or add your favoritesweetener and milk.
